More than swaps, it’s also off-cycle openings!
In Sep 2022 just two days after my kids left for University, I suddenly received several emails and texts from ResidentSwap that a position that meets my criteria had opened up. I had been on the site previously looking for preventive and occupational medicine positions on west coast. I registered immediately and found an off-cycle opening in Occupational and Environmental Medicine was available locally, to start in January. All of the application instructions were described in detail, and I submitted everything ASAP.
YES I got an interview. YES I got the position. So thrilled to start and not have to wait for regular application cycle, which would’ve been more pricey than the service.
